We are excited to offer this phenomenal opportunity to join our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team as an Associate Director. This role will operate as a member of the Finance team, supporting the commercial leadership team and reporting to the head of FP&A International. As an Associate Director FP&A, a typical day might include the following:

  • Attend forecasting meetings, understand ex-US revenue drivers, and forecast gross to net sales items for specific countries.

  • Convert epidemiology data into financial forecasts, enter forecasts into the system, and present them to senior management.

  • Conduct Actuals vs Forecast analysis, liaise with accounting for accurate revenue and GTN data, and work closely with internal Finance colleagues.

  • Develop long-range plans, budgets, and resource allocations for Commercial operations, and implement tools for resource planning activities.

  • Be responsible for the P&L for specified countries, track and report costs, advise ex-US business on finance matters, and ensure compliance with all standards and regulations.

  • Serve as a liaison between various departments, provide Finance support for legal entity topics, review financial data, approve purchase requisitions, and provide leadership for European business employees.

To be considered for this opportunity you must possess a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant post-qualification work experience spent in the biotech/pharma industry. Having your MBA or an accounting qualification is preferred as that foundation will aid you in getting up to speed quickly in our environment. We need someone with a strong and comprehensive understanding of finance and accounting principles and P&L statements. Previous experience in Big 4 accounting firms can be advantageous. Proficient English is a requirement, and other European languages are a plus.
