Using prior project management knowledge and relevant experience in the drug development industry, the Manager Development Program Management (DPM) partners with the DPM Asset Lead on one or more development programs [within a given Therapeutic Area]. The Manager Development Program Management is an integrated team member who supports planning and execution of the program(s) strategy, from preclinical through commercialization. This includes assisting with the development and implementation of integrated project/program plans, and the development and management of program budgets and timelines. The Manager Development Program Management plays a role in the formation and management of effective cross functional teams and liaises with a network of functional area project managers.

A typical day in this role looks like:

  • Teams: . Under the direction of the DPM Asset Lead, supports facilitation of cross functional Strategic Development Team and oversees operational activities of cross functional teams from pre-IND through commercialization. May lead sub-team/functional area meetings. Builds relationships and effectively collaborates with department and cross-functional colleagues.
  • Planning and Tracking: Supports DPM Asset Lead in the development of integrated project / program plans and tracks progress of integrated development plans, timelines and budgets against approved baselines. Contributes to annual goal setting sessions to develop project / program level goals that align with Regeneron’s overall goals, and monitors progress against these goals. Participates in development of contingency and risk mitigation plans.
  • Collaborations: Partners with DPM Asset Lead to manage project / program deliverables between Regeneron and strategic alliance partners and collaborators (where applicable).
  • Information: Has technical expertise in existing project management systems and tools.. Ensures accuracy of project/program data in project management systems. Manages program information in Team sites.
  • Communication: Facilitates collaboration between functional areas to ensure effective, accurate, and timely scientific / technical and program-related communication. Follows-up on assignments and tasks. Participates in preparation of program status updates.
  • Problem Solving: Identifies areas for improvement. Serves as a key contributor in process improvement initiatives, ensuring they meet business needs.

In order to be considered qualified for this role, a minimum of Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant broad project / program management experience required, preferably in a pharmaceutical/biotech industry.

Salary Range (annually)

$113,100.00 - $184,700.00
