We are currently looking to fill a Senior Manager Global Procurement – Direct position within our team. In this role you will provide strategic leadership and direction with a focus on being a single point of contact for Global Procurement at the internal Drug Product Manufacturing facility in Tempel Lane. The role contributes and collaborates with every function within the Manufacturing facility as well as contributes and collaborates with the different Category owners from the Global Procurement Perspective. This role will be critical to driving implementation, resolution and guidance across the IOPS Drug Product Manufacturing categories including alignment with stakeholder goals, driving towards competitive advantages (strategic and financial), optimizing supplier relationships, including small and diverse suppliers. This role works in close collaboration with IOPS Stakeholders to enable Drug Product manufacturing objectives.

In this role, a typical day may include the following:

  • Accountable for supporting the definition and implementation of the Drug Product manufacturing category strategy to serve business needs as assigned.

  • Work with numerous service and goods providers that support a variety of Drug Product MFG services and goods.

  • Interact with stakeholders across the IOPS organization to lead discussions related to the Drug Product MFG categories and aligns category priorities with Procurement category leads, management and stakeholders.

  • Handle negotiations and complex contracts/contracting, supplier management activities, and stakeholder engagement activities.

  • Take direction to drive value in terms of cost savings, cash flow improvement, and other efficiency savings from category management activities.

  • Manage and collaborate in category activities to ensure compliance with appropriate GxPs and other applicable regulations, as applicable.

  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions in consultation with Law department aligned with Regeneron’s priorities and business requirements.

This role may be a fit for you if:

  • You have experience successfully establishing and driving Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) programs and governance models.

  • You have experience in the MaB, Large Molecule manufacturing environment.

  • Have negotiation and contract management skills.

  • You have experience successfully managing category stage gate processes, including strategy development and execution.

  • Can use external data sources, market information, and supplier engagement to constantly improve Regeneron’s knowledge of supply market dynamics.

  • Demonstrated success supporting global supply market evaluation processes using all available market intelligence, risk, compliance, and financial assessment tools.

  • Can successfully build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to drive results for Regeneron.

  • Have previous success working effectively with cross-functional teams in research and pre-clinical service categories or related categories through effective sourcing, negotiations and contracting.

  • Have experience successfully managing category processes, and suppliers across a breadth of categories

  • Have in-depth knowledge of the Drug Product manufacturing process.

To be considered for this role you must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study plus progressive experience in procurement, preferably including substantial experience in Pharma/BioPharma.

  • Sr Manager: 7+ years of experience in relevant functions or industries. demonstrating growth in experience, scale, and development throughout.

This role requires working onsite 5 days per week.

Salary Range (annually)

$124,400.00 - $203,000.00
