The Position

Responsibility in AMEVS project (validation and site integration)

  • Implement and continuously improve the project management practice in AMEVS in terms of:

  • 1. Scope management

  • 2. Schedule management

  • 3. Resource management

  • 4. Cost management with finance controller

  • 5. Change management

  • 6. Risk/Opportunity/Dependency management

  • 7. Project communication

  • 8. Stakeholders management including supporting AMEVS project lead (Head of BEAT) report to the project governance body (e.g. AMEVS OSC/ESC)

  • Implemente selected work-streams inside AMEVS.

  • Integrate the activities within AMEVS, and in-between AMEVS and AMEFS.

  • Act as a catalyst to foster a collaborative and high-performing project team atmosphere through appropriate team activities and engagement initiatives. This inspires the project team to overcome obstacles and fulfill delivery commitments.

  • Maintain excellent track of project documents & structure to ensure readiness for project audit.

  • Identify opportunities and drive enhancement with existing site functions to best prepare for integrated site operation after hand-over.

  • Develop and implement a holistic transition plan from project to routine operation.

  • Other required activities as needed by AMEVS Project Lead (Head of BEAT).

Responsibility in AMEFS project (facility and engineering)

  • Support AMEFS User Team Lead (Head of BEAT) in managing the AMEFS user team.

  • Integrate user requirements by identifying interdependencies across user functions and thus driving alignment across all user team members.

  • Interface with the Global Engineering project team to organize critical review sessions with user teams, driving alignment to ensure smooth execution.

  • Conduct the joint PMO meetings, prepare meeting agendas/minutes and ensure associated action plans are implemented.

  • Other required activities as needed by AMEFS User Team Lead (Head of BEAT).

Qualification & Experience:

  • Masters of Engineering, Science, Business Administration or related fields.

  • Program management certification.

  • 3-5 years’ experience managing campus development / integration for IVD/Healthcare manufacturing facilities.

  • 2-3 years experience managing project management office.

  • 5 years of experience managing complex, multi-phase projects in the pharma, biotechnology, or medical device industries.

  • In-depth understanding of engineering principles, facility design

  • Extensive hands-on experience with product transfer, validation processes, regulatory compliance, and site integration.

  • Proven ability to manage large budgets, perform cost forecasting, and ensure financial health of projects.

  • Strong capability in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks while leveraging opportunities for project enhancement.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leadership.

  • Expertise in PMO best practices, and familiarity with Agile, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies.

  • Demonstrated ability to inspire, motivate, and lead high-performance, cross-functional teams.

  • Superior organizational skills to maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure audit readiness.

  • Roche Diagnostics Suzhou internal experience, especially experience with DPP and working relations with Global Engineering team.
