The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior leader to join our Global Digital Marketing Chapter as the Subchapter Lead for CRM & Digital Sales Enablement. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, expertise in the MedTech/IVD industry, and a proven track record in commercial, digital, sales, or marketing roles.
The Global Digital Marketing Chapter is an integral part of the Marketing & Customer Insights function within Roche Diagnostics Solutions. The Chapter focuses on driving digital marketing strategies and initiatives and evolving the Digital technology systems for Marketing and Sales to enhance customer engagement and support business growth. The Subchapter Lead of CRM & Digital Sales Enablement will play a critical role in creating a global strategy for CRM, Digital Sales Enablement and aligning it with global commercial enablement strategies and initiatives. As customer expectations change to a more digital enabled engagement this role is critical for combining the business accountability of the Martech team and integrating marketing automation with CRM functionalities. As the CRM is the single source of truth in the Solutions ecosystem of cGM, the Subchapter Lead of CRM & Digital Sales Enablement will also be responsible for Patient data, - HCP data and - consent management, to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and ethical standards.

Responsibilities:
As the Subchapter Lead of CRM & Digital Sales Enablement, you will be responsible for:
1. Leadership and Strategy:
Leading and managing a team of diverse professionals within the subchapter, including Product Owners, Business Process Managers, and Digital Marketing Automation Leads.
Developing and executing the subchapter's strategic direction, aligning it with the overall objectives of the Global Digital Marketing Chapter, M&CI strategic priorities, and overall business priorities of global Customer Areas and Regions/Affiliates.
Coordinating the global digital sales enablement strategy and technology stack with key stakeholders in global commercial teams, regional commercial representatives and affiliate commercial teams
2. Portfolio Development and Adoption:
Coach your team to Epic Ownership and Prioritization: Championing the definition, prioritization, and validation of Epics within the CRM and digital sales Enablement domain. Collaborating with Business Owners, Product Managers, and Enterprise Architects to ensure alignment with the Strategic Themes and Portfolio Vision.
Lean-Agile Budgeting: Overseeing the allocation of budgets within the CRM and digital sales Enablement subchapter consistent with the value streams. Facilitating the Lean-Agile budgeting process in collaboration with the Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) function.
Value Stream Coordination: Working closely with the Solution and Program Management to define and support the implementation of Value Streams that deliver on the subchapter's objectives. Ensuring that CRM and digital sales capabilities are effectively integrated into the Value Streams.
Program Increment (PI) Planning: Observing and participating in PI Planning sessions as a Business Owner to provide vision, context, and program priorities. Guiding the Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and Solution Trains in understanding the work items that contribute to the subchapter's goals, defined by the SPR (Strategic Portfolio Review).
Metrics and KPIs: Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact and success of the portfolio within the CRM and digital sales Enablement subchapter. Utilizing Lean metrics to track progress and inform continuous improvement efforts.
Innovation and Exploration: Encouraging and facilitating innovation within the subchapter by creating an environment that supports exploration, hypothesis testing, and implementation of new ideas that could enhance B2B and B2C engagements in the Diagnostics and Diabetes Care sectors.
Unleash the Power of Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by conducting regular retro workshops. Critically evaluate the effectiveness of our initiatives, gather valuable feedback, and leverage metrics to make data-driven adjustments. This unwavering commitment to excellence ensures we stay ahead of the curve and deliver exceptional results.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to communicate progress, collect feedback, and ensure that the needs of IVD decision-makers, people with diabetes, and HCPs are being met through the CRM, Marketing Automation and digital sales initiatives.
3. Business Process Management:
Overseeing CRM & Marketing Automation related business processes, ensuring efficient and effective utilization of CRM tools and technologies.
Collaborating with the Business Owner of Marketing Automation & Sales Enablement to streamline workflows and enhance customer experiences.
Managing the CRM Consent Migration process and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
Who You Are:
University degree in Marketing/Business and/or Sciences, MBA preferred
10+ years of experience in the in-vitro or Medtech Diagnostics market
Proven track record in VACC Leadership
Ability to successfully lead cross-functional matrix teams, building vision and strategy, driving and influencing others for results
Strong leadership, communication and persuasion skills with the ability to work effectively across an organization
Established knowledge of the Roche Diagnostics organization and strong personal network across different teams
Good understanding of Digital Marketing & Sales Enablement overarching strategy & business goals
Good understanding of Martech Stack portfolio
Strong ability to think “big picture” with strategic mindset
Ability to prioritize and have trade-off discussions
Comfortable challenging the status quo with an entrepreneurial mindset and a “can do” attitude
Ability to lead interactions with senior internal stakeholders and regions/affiliates
Deep understanding of customer and affiliate needs with extreme customer focus
Good understanding of agile methodologies and ways-of-working, preferably experience of working in such an environment.
Experience working in a SAFe environment, including human-centric design
