The Position

The Chapter Lead - Near Patient Care is a sales leadership position that combines the Point of Care Area of Diagnostics and the Diabetes Care Sales functions. This role is responsible for leading and developing a team of sales professionals to drive revenue growth, build strong customer relationships, and ensure the effective promotion and sales of point-of-care and diabetes care solutions. The Chapter Lead will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies, drive customer satisfaction, and achieve business objectives.

Main Tasks:

  • Lead and develop a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive performance and achieve sales targets.

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to promote and sell point-of-care and diabetes care solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market dynamics.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including healthcare providers, laboratories, and healthcare systems, to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and customer support, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and customer satisfaction.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities, providing insights and recommendations to inform sales strategies and enhance market positioning.

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales activities, market trends, and business performance.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging best practices and lessons learned to optimize sales processes and enhance team effectiveness.

  • Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous learning within the sales team, promoting professional growth and development opportunities.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. - Proven experience in sales leadership roles, preferably within the medical device or healthcare industry.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth, with experience in point-of-care or diabetes care sales considered a strong asset.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve exceptional results.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • In-depth knowledge of the medical device industry, healthcare systems, and the sales process in the diagnostic or diabetes care space.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and market trends to inform sales strategies.

You can expect an annual salary from € 70,000 gross, as well as a performance-related bonus and attractive benefits. Depending on qualifications and experience, there is a willingness to overpay.
