The Position
Payments Partner - 12 month Fixed Term Contract
Roche is seeking a Payments Partner on a 12 month fixed term contract to support the activities of our strategic therapy areas through the management of our payment processes - both from a process and system efficiency perspective as well as the day- to-day operational administration of payments.
This role is being introduced to address immediate challenges, identify solutions, embed processes and ensure robust reporting so that the responsibilities of this role can be embedded back into Business as Usual operations in the long term.
This role is core to helping us ensure we manage payments with increased governance and aims to directly improve our relationships with HCPs.
Who you are:
You are an enthusiastic and self-driven professional with solid customer and stakeholder awareness, you should have a proactive approach to problem solving, identifying effective and creative solutions to address day-to-day business challenges (financial problem solving is preferred). We are looking for someone who is system-savvy and who can apply critical thinking and demonstrates a meticulous attention to detail as well as excellent communication skills.
Core Responsibilities:
● You will manage the adhoc payment process for the core strategic relationships we hold with Healthcare Professionals, Healthcare Organisations, Patients and Patient Groups
● You will coordinate payments, ensuring that our suppliers are paid in a timely manner.
● You will maintain regular reporting on help desk KPIs and work with Roche Shared Services, Vendor Master Team and Accounts Payable, as well as the wider business, to address trends.
● You will participate in an ongoing Work Package Project alongside other project team members to identify areas for improvement and embed solutions to benefit the organisation and our suppliers.
● You will demonstrate financial Acumen - managing and reporting on Payment spend for strategic therapy areas.
● You will support Transfer of Value reporting processes.
● You will empower a drive towards appropriate organisation wide self-service supporting through training and enabling the right processes for longer term management.
● You will become a SME for the payment process in RoME to support longer term business outcomes.
● You will work collaboratively and share expertise across the organisation to remove silos and duplication, ensuring efficient use of similar skill-sets, and to ultimately support common pursuit of our organisational ambitions
● You will align your personal purpose to the organisations focus of delivering better outcomes to more patients, faster
● You will act as a guardian for high standards of compliance, ethics and safety; putting patients at the centre of all actions by consistent business behaviour that complies with applicable laws, industry codes and Roche’s Code of Conduct.
● You will own your development to ensure you are continually growing skills and capabilities in line with your passion and the needs of the Organisation (present and future)
● You will increasingly demonstrate the VACC (Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, Coach) roles, as you develop your personal skills and capabilities, to positively support colleagues
