The Position

By doing so, we provide patients with the critical answers they need. Achieving this requires close collaboration within our global network of sales affiliates, production sites, and business areas.

The Sr. Network Analyst is responsible for driving supply network optimization and ensuring optimal supply chain configurations for a flexible and resilient end-to-end supply chain network for value-creation for our customers. This role involves managing and improving complex optimizers, as well as ensuring robust data through automation. The colleague also serves as a Product Owner for complex analytics solutions within a global and cross-functional data product team. The Sr. Network Analyst will collaborate closely with various stakeholders and lead cross-functional expert teams to deliver holistic solutions aligned with the strategic priorities of the organization and for customer value creation.

Your Opportunity

  • Supply Network Optimization: Drive optimization of the supply network, ensuring the best configurations for a multi-hub, flexible, and resilient supply chain. Use, manage and improve complex optimizers, including cloud based, automated, modular, parameter-heavy solvers and optimizers within OMP and other systems.
    This includes conducting analyses, giving recommendations, driving and taking decisions on optimization within the end to end network, including routes, transport mode, replenishment quantities, safety stocks, lead time settings, and more.

  • Data Management and Governance: Ensure solid Master Data foundations using automation options across systems. This includes driving Master Data Quality as well as ensuring clear and transparent Master Data Governance.

  • Product Ownership: Serve as a Product Owner for complex solutions based on data-mesh principles within a global and cross-functional data product team part of the Supply Chain Data Domain, utilizing an agile work methodology.

  • Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration: Ensure close collaboration with stakeholders across the matrix structure of the global 3-hub, production and affiliate network and more to achieve best global setup and focused customer value creation. This includes close collaboration on expert level, connection to senior leaders, strong communication.

  • Know How Management: Serve as an expert, consultant. Drive know-how management

  • Projects and Initiatives: lead and collaborate in global and cross-functional projects/initiatives, lead cross-functional expert teams.

  • Technological Integration & Innovation: Work with state-of-the-art technologies including complex solvers, solutions built on data mesh, mathematical and heuristic optimization logics, and more. Stay close to new technological developments and work with colleagues on how to include them for value creation.

  • Strategic Focus: Ensure all solutions are holistic and focused on the strategic priorities of the organization and on customer value creation.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Operations Research, or other related field

  • 3-7 years of experience in supply chain management, planning, network optimization, data analytics, master data management, supply chain management, production, or purchasing functions with an international focus

  • Highly proficient in complex, cross-functional Supply Chain processes, especially planning processes from operative to strategic level, and supply network optimization.

  • Proficiency with state-of-the-art technologies and integrated planning suites like OMP, including its data- and optimization modules. Very good knowledge of SAP ERP.

  • Proficient in Master Data management and automation solutions, such as OMP data genie and ADM rules, data quality tools such as Ataccama, as well as in data quality management and data governance.

  • Strong analytical and decision making capabilities for data-driven end-to-end network optimization

  • Solid know how regarding data preparation, visualization, and optimization, with knowledge of ETL and visualization platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Alteryx, Tableau). Solid know how of SAP analytics environments, such as SAP SAC, SAP BoA, BW, etc.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis, IN is $78,800 - $173,800. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
