The Position

Purpose of the role

We seek a recent graduate with enthusiasm for technology and Automation to join our team as an Yew Hon TangInfrastructure DevOps Engineering Associate. In this role, you'll have the chance to work on cutting-edge Infrastructure as Code services, maintain and optimize our physical and virtual Compute infrastructure, and engage with DevOps solutions. You'll contribute to automation projects, manage resource allocations, and ensure any issues are resolved promptly. This position offers a hands-on learning experience, mentorship from seasoned professionals, and the opportunity to grow within a dynamic field. Main responsibilities:

Navigating our Infrastructure as Code environments for development, debugging, and deployment purposes.
Adopting a DevOps mindset and automating processes.

What would your day-to-day look like?

Your daily journey as a Junior Infrastructure DevOps Engineer will involve a blend of teamwork, learning, and technical challenges. You'll start your day by checking in on our IT infrastructure, ensuring that everything related to Infrastructure management is running smoothly. You'll get to roll up your sleeves and dive into Infrastructure as Code User Stories and solutions, where you will not just watch but actively engage in enhancing the performance of our infrastructure and remove the toil from Operational tasks. You will also be part of a chapter responsible for building various infrastructure platforms in both cloud and on-premises environments, providing continuous learning and growth opportunities for our organization. As you troubleshoot any hiccups alongside your team, you'll learn how to fine-tune our systems and prevent future issues. Your creative input will be valued as you help us streamline our processes through automation—making our work smarter, not harder.

At the end of the day, your contributions will ensure that both our team and our clients are set up for success. You'll have the full support of your colleagues and leaders, who are just as dedicated to your growth as they are to our network's excellence.

Who are you?

We are looking for a recent graduate -no more than 3 years- with a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. You should have foundational programming, scripting, and automation skills, along with an eagerness to learn and develop expertise in IT infrastructure management. Basic knowledge of systems administration principles, IT Service Management is recommended, and familiarity with Platform Management solutions is a plus.
