Global Capital Investment & Real Estate is responsible for providing an efficient, effective and sustainable working environment for over 100,000 employees of Roche globally. This is done in a multitude of ways, from designing office layouts, to constructing manufacturing facilities, controlling and approval of capital expenditure across the division to managing real estate transactions in 126 countries around the world. The multi-disciplinary team offers the perfect environment for a motivated intern to apply transferable skills in a dynamic setting.
Your main responsibilities
Support Global FM&RE Technology in preparing and governing projects, maintaining running initiatives and communicating with stakeholders. More concrete you will:
Keep data and insights of Initiatives of the Global Facility Council (GFC) and enable the GFC to drive decisions based on data
Work with the Workplace team and ensure a timely connection of CAD files on the Autodesk Construction Cloud with Archibus
Maintain an overview of Roche’s Global Occupancy Dashboard and continuously improve its reliability and benefit
Analyze workplace utilization data in order to help draw conclusions on optimal asset operations
Work with the global community to foster collaboration and exchange amongst them and across projects
Work with other scope areas in wider team
Who you are
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in data science, facility management, real estate, project management, architecture, or a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to integrate well into different cultures and business settings.
Self-motivated with a proactive, can-do attitude, a sense of responsibility, and strong organizational skills.
Technical background with an affinity for data management and proficiency in Google Suite (gMail, gDoc, gSheet, etc.) and a good knowledge of Data Mesh.
Proficiency in English (a second language is a plus); experience in FM, RE, WPS, or project management is beneficial but not essential.
