  • Work with Operations in the scale up of materials and processes for production of all system components to commercial manufacturing volumes.
  • Plan and coordinate the execution of appropriate design verification/validation testing.
  • Play a strong supporting role in development and maintenance of Quality System elements, specifically for Design Control.

About You:

  • Advanced degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, biophysics, cell biology or closely related fields.
  • 5+ years experience required for PhD'd Scientists, and 8+ years experience required for MS degree holders, with relevant experience from academia or industry.
  • Experience and knowledge in leading multidisciplinary teams through lean product development processes.
  • Experience using statistical tools such as JMP to analyze complex data sets, create DOE experiments, and troubleshoot and optimize robust new single cell genomics products.
  • Experience with next generation sequencing, genomics and/or proteomics technologies.
  • Relevant experience or knowledge of genomics assay development, preferably using single-cell sequencing methods and technologies.
  • Solid understanding of timelines and budgeting necessary for product development.
  • Experience with complete and successful launches of new products in the life science tools space.
  • Excellent communication skills and track record of collaboration and teamwork.
