ESG Reporting Analyst

The ESG Reporting Analyst plays a crucial role in advancing our organization's ESG initiatives through data-driven reporting and analysis. You will be responsible for supporting Group, Business Units, and other reporting entities with specific ESG reporting workstreams.

- Support Syngenta Group and affiliates with their yearly ESG reports, data and narrative
- Lead the coordination and submission of ESG ratings
- Support the publication of mandatory thematic reports (e.g. Modern Slavery Act)
- Support country specific reports where legally required and ensure alignment with Group data/narrative
- Monitor changes in ESG reporting standards, regulations, and reporting requirements
- Support the implementation and continued refinement of the ESG operating model
- Monitor industry trends and best practices in ESG reporting
- Collaborate with internal communication efforts to promote understanding of ESG reporting
- Support both climate and social teams with CSDDD
- Support Treasury and Investor Relations with capital markets enquiries on ESG

You will be a great fit if you have:
- BSc or MSc in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Environmental Studies, or a related field
- 2-4 years working experience in ESG reporting, ESG ratings, ESG auditing or management consulting in an ESG related field
- Familiarity with CSRD, ESRS, EU taxonomy, IFRS ISSB
- Familiarity with climate/environmental/safety data
- Knowledge of relevant ESG reporting regulations and requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Hands-on experience with ESG data management software (e.g. Enablon, Novisto, SAP)
- Proficiency in creating impactful data visualizations and presentations. Knowledge in Thinkcell in an advantage
- Proficiency in written and spoken English is a must
- Working knowledge of Chinese or Hebrew is an advantage
- Experience in the chemical and/or agricultural industries is highly desirable
- Skilled in adapting to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, including managing multiple reporting cycles and priorities
- Ability to interpret and apply relevant guidelines to reporting processes
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, taking initiative
- Excellent written and verbal communication tailored to a diverse set of stakeholders
