About the role

As a member of Takeda Oncology, your work will contribute to our bold, inspiring vision: We aspire to cure cancer. As part of the Patient Value Access team, you will report to Vice President US Market Access and partner with commercial and operational functions.

How you will contribute

  • Develop and lead Strategic Account Management (SAM) team to develop and execute strategic business plans and core materials to meet regional and national goals across Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), Community, Academic, and Professional State Societies

  • Lead Strategic Account Management Team while promoting a culture of accountability, urgency, high-performance, and ethical behavior while ensuring professional development and exceeding goals.

  • Clarifies and sets SAM objectives that align with Takeda's strategy to ensure performance targets are exceeded through executed strategies against well-established strategic business goals

  • Collaborates and maintains alignment with various cross-functional internal leaders and stakeholders that support developing and effectively utilizing innovative solutions

  • Create and communicates weekly performance to senior leadership and closely partner with coverage team leadership to implement plans, initiatives, and resource to acquire new business partnerships and drive growth

  • Work collaboratively with multiple leadership stakeholders across several functions, including Field Sales, Strategy & Operations, Ethics & Compliance, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Legal, to achieve goals and objectives

  • Responsible for setting objectives and goals, allocating budget, devising strategies to identify new opportunities, and developing programs to attract potential clients and maintain existing accounts.

  • Have established understanding and existing relationships within key oncology customer segments including but not limited to: Targeted networks accounts, organized customer groups, oncology pathways, IDNs, specialty GPOs

  • Identify/solicit and share insights/trends within target segment including but not limited to; business model, relevant metrics, unique challenges, strategic goals, procedures for protocol development and current placement of Takeda oncology products on pathway and/or within EMR/Order sets/Formulary

  • Demonstrate leadership across the stakeholder organizations to establish and enhance the value of Takeda Oncology beyond its products

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, marketing, or related field with 15+ years industry experience

  • 10+ years experience with responsibility for Oncology Network Accounts/IDNs or specialty GPO accounts

  • 5+ years prior experience as an Oncology Field Sales leader with proven ability to work within a matrix team environment to achieve business results

  • 7+ years focused account management knowledge of oncology marketplace, access influencers, and community oncology driving value, access and profitability

  • Strong customer orientation and account management expertise and are resourceful with strong networking skills

  • Have the ability to work collaboratively and lead cross-functional teams while proactively identifying leading trends and channel dynamics to translate to impactful access programs for our brands

U.S. Base Salary Range:

205,100.00 - 322,300.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S.based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
