Job Description
About the role:
The Distribution, Senior Analyst is responsible for overseeing the storage and movement of materials and finished goods. This role ensures efficient warehousing, shipping, and inventory control, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the supply chain.
How you will contribute:
* Design warehouse layouts for maximum space utilization and efficiency
* Implement lean concepts to streamline warehouse operations
* Use AutoCAD for designing and planning warehouse layouts
* Manage projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to policies
* Provide guidance to team members, acting as an advisor based on established policies
* Solve moderate scope problems using judgment within defined procedures
* Maintain effective internal communication to ensure alignment and efficiency
Skills and qualifications:
* Expertise in designing warehouse layouts for maximum space utilization and efficiency
* Proficient in implementing lean concepts to streamline warehouse operations
* Skilled in using AutoCAD for designing and planning warehouse layouts
* Capable of managing projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to policies
* Provides guidance to team members, acting as an advisor based on established policies
* Experienced in operational planning and execution with minimal external guidance
* Solves moderate scope problems using judgment within defined procedures
* Utilizes general industry practices effectively to ensure project success
* Demonstrates leadership by providing policy guidance and recommendations within the unit
* Maintains effective internal communication to ensure alignment and efficiency
* Applies problem-solving skills to address issues within the warehouse design and operations
* Understands and applies industry practices to enhance warehouse functionality
