Job Description
About the role
As an Analytical Method Specialist, you will support analytical method life cycle management for biologics within Takeda’s global framework. This includes coordinating and authoring multi-site assay control documents, ensuring compliance with GMP regulations, and collaborating with cross-departmental teams. The role also involves contributing to method transfer activities and remediation testing to maintain the highest standards in pharmaceutical analysis. This position is limited until March 31st, 2026.
How you will contribute
Coordinate and author multi-site assay control documents.
Support method transfer, analytical method remediation testing, and life cycle management activities.
Apply statistical analysis to ensure lab comparability and define assay control ranges.
Perform lab bench testing and administrative tasks when required.
Ensure alignment with internal procedures, Quality Systems, and GMP regulations.
Collaborate effectively with Analytical Science teams and QC labs globally to drive innovation, escalate issues as needed, and maintain compliance
What you bring to Takeda
Technical education (Bachelor or Master in chemical, biological, or pharmaceutical fields) or significant experience in manufacturing/testing pharmaceutical ingredients.
Fluency in English (oral and written).
Expertise in biochemical and chemical analysis and a working knowledge of Excel, practical knowledge of statistical tools (e.g., Minitab) would be an advantage
Strong writing, technical, and analytical skills.
Ideally practical knowledge of Quality Management Systems and GMP compliance.
Team-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.
Flexible and collaborative, maintaining cultural awareness and openness to feedback.
High sense of responsibility, capable of prioritizing tasks effectively and delivering results.
What Takeda can offer you:
A competitive remuneration package with a minimum salary of € 4.157,14 gross per month (full-time, collective wage agreement for the chemical industry) - the actual salary is higher will depend on your professional experience and qualifications.
