In Bulgaria, we are the largest employer in the pharmaceutical industry with near 1700 employees in the two manufacturing plants (Dupnitsa and Troyan); sales and marketing organization and in a number of global corporate functions based in our country. After the acquisition of Actavis by Teva Pharmaceuticals, in Bulgaria we are operating under the Teva brand.

We are currently looking for a motivated professional for the position of Director Site Finance Lead located in Troyan.

The position acts as finance business partner to Site General Manager and Leadership Team to achieve site short- and long-term financial targets.

How you’ll spend your day

• Provide accurate analytical information to ensure business decisions are based on strong financial reasoning.
• Impact decision making and take an active role in promoting cross-site initiatives, teamwork and collaboration across site functions.

Financial Reporting
• Monitor actuals (absorption, production expenses, material variances, write offs, site other expenses, apportionment to inventory and local variance capitalization, goods receipts, Capex, FTE, and finance KPIs) and propose necessary corrective measures.
• Provide accurate, complete and in-time management reporting to the Site Leadership Team, TGO and Corporate Finance.

Planning & Forecasting
• Lead the site's annual planning and forecasting processes in collaboration with Site General Manager and Leadership Team, ensuring business and financial drivers are transparent.

Product Cost Calculations
• Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date product cost calculations for all drug substance, bulk and finished products manufactured or/and packed at the site as well as third party products for which a TGO activity is provided at the site.
• This includes standard cost as well as transfer pricing calculations.

Inventory Management
• Ensure correct valuation of inventory throughout the inventory cycle and support inventory management in close cooperation with supply chain management.

Capital Expenditure Management and Capital Asset Cycle
• Provide financial assessment and net present value calculations for capital expenditure requests.
• Ensure accounting for the acquisition and periodic allocation of the cost of property, plant and equipment to the income statement throughout the capital asset cycle.

Continuous improvement of competitiveness
• Explore, analyze, facilitate and leverage efficiency initiatives to improve operating profit and cash flow, as well as lead continuous improvement in finance processes.

Compliance
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal controls and reporting guidelines.

Lead site finance team and collaboration with Global Business Services
• Manage, develop and retain qualified financial professionals to provide high-level service to the site. Implement managerial practices to ensure the team’s high performance, modeling Teva's values and leadership framework.
• Leverage TGO Finance Global Business Services for cost, inventory and fixed asset accounting
• Represent the site in TGO finance projects

Your experience and qualifications

• University Degree in Finance/Business Economics/Accounting or equivalent
• Minimum 6 years of experience in finance or accounting managerial position
• Financial, analytical and modelling experience
• Strong knowledge and understanding of accounting principles
• Capable of building a strategy and implement action plan accordingly
• Ability to drive change, flexibility and strong influencing, communication and leadership skills
• Experience in developing Financial Analytics highly desired
• Experience in global companies in production
• English on advanced level
• Technical Proficiency – ERP, Office tools, SAP
• Business partnership approach
• People management experience
