Senior Director, Head of Global EHS&S for TAPI

Primary purpose of the position

TAPI EHSS program oversight lead & Innovation will report to the Head of Global EHS&S for TAPI. He / She will help to perform data mining to identify trends and management decisions as requested. EHS&S Data has become an important decision-maker in the Business operations. It is what management teams use to drive better business decisions to keep workers safe and build a greener work environment. EHS&S Program oversight lead play an important role in helping the organization to fulfill the mission by using data. He / She is responsible for raising data to uncover hidden hazards and risks, learning the data patterns, and helping to early identify trends. He / She is accountable for driving consistency in developing and preparing metrics, streamlining data processes, and increasing data quality to early identify trends, build data models, design visualizations, and present EHSS data statistics including sustainability data collection to TAPI leadership. He/She will be oriented to new technology/digitalization to continuously look for efficiency improvements.

General duties and responsibilities

As a member of TAPI EHSS team, he/she will be provide Managerial support to TAPI facilities and global projects.

Data Collection and Processing

  • Leading and supporting EHSIMS administration, system updates & upgrade maintenance, change implementation and functionality verification during User Acceptance Tests with appropriate and effective collaboration with IT to assure the continued availability and reliability of the EHSIMS system.
  • Assist in the assessment of, testing and if needed implementation of the EHS&S software (Enablon, resource Advisor or similar ones) updates. Provide technical support to EHS&S software related issues.
  • Leading and supporting EHSIMS Metrics, creating indicators and maintain campaigns.
  • Follow and implements TAPI’s Global Records & Information Management (RIM) Policy.
  • EHS&S data management (shared drive / Website) - accumulation, communication and maintenance including annual file clean-up – which includes EHS Management standards up keeping.

Improving and Learning

  • Track & Contribute TAPI’s Social Governance (ESG) to achieve TAPI goals. Support sites with data collection and approval for EHS&S performance with a special focus on Environmental data.
  • Support stakeholder requests for ESG information. Support Enablon lessen & learn to enable successful EHS data collection. Support an Environmental Dashboard based on a Business Intelligence application.
  • Develop deployment plan for EHS&S promotional activities like Annual EHS&S Excellence Awards and EHS&S Week.
  • Develop e‐learning modules (internally or through external source) on the topics related to EHS management standards and effectively deploy them to the users.

Data Analysis

  • Applying statistical methods and data visualization techniques to analyze datasets, Identifying trends within the data.
  • Creating visualizations, charts, and dashboards to communicate insights effectively (Heat Map).
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track EHS&S performance.
  • Identifying areas for improvement and optimization based on data analysis.
  • Collaborating with teams to implement data-driven solutions and strategies.
  • Perform and support the organization by providing routine and ad-hoc reports, as required including supporting as needed the various Technical Advisory Committees.

Data Quality Assurance

  • Ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of data through regular quality checks.
  • Developing and implementing data validation processes to maintain data quality standards.

Innovation

  • Be looking for new solution as new technology/digitalization/IA to continuously improve the way we operate in EHS&S with data or more.
  • Propose strategic approach on rolling out new technology when approved.

Other tasks

  • Develop a process for EHS&S business continuity by keeping knowledge when people are leaving or changing roles.
  • Coordinate with the Standard owners for periodic review of EHS Management standards.
  • Manage TAPI EHS central budget (Planning, Purchase order management, tracking expenses etc.).

Requirements

Qualification/Skills

  • Strong data & analytics skills, with an innate curiosity on the topic.
  • Attention to detail and a high standard of work.
  • Ability to communicate and influence virtually across diverse geographies and functions.
  • A good understanding of Pharma/API operations.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.

Education and Knowledge Requirements

  • Technical Degree, preferably in Environmental Engineering and Science or related field (Master’s Degree is preferable) with matching background or related experience
  • Experience >5 years. Direct experience in EHS&S and data handling with Manufacturing Company will be an advantage.
  • High level of business pragmatism and understanding.

Skills and capabilities

  • Experience working with large and complex data sets.
  • High proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Enablon and Resource advisor or similar.
  • Hands on experience on various Project management tools.
  • Experience working with diverse groups at a global level.
  • Experience driving continuous improvement in data management and reporting.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex issues to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent project management skills involving large private and/or public organization.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and influencing skills to drive global initiatives.
  • Ability to lead successfully in highly matrixed multi-cultural environment a definite asset.

Location and working program

This position is available in Rho, Santhià, Caronno or Villanterio (IT), Prigorje Brdovečko (CRO), Debrecen (HUN), Opava (CZ), from Monday to Friday.
