Your Mission
In this role, you’ll be the legal expert for all of our European production sites. Your primary objective is to support our company in all legal on site activities. Your expertise will touch every corner of our legal OPS, from EHS compliance, labor low, licensing and procurement contracts to specific Italian and other European legal requirements. By working closely with the cross functional teams, both in-house and external, you’ll help to set the gold legal standard for our company.
Your responsibilities include:
- Supporting our European sites with all legal matters. This includes our four Italian sites in Milano region, our Croatian site near Zagreb plus our sites in Debrecen, Hungary and Opava, Czechia.
- Draft contracts, formalizes terms of agreement and draft other legal documents in order to safeguard and promote TAPI’s best interest.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and industry codes, as well as with TAPI policies.
- Instruct and manage external law firms and counsels for ongoing litigation- ensuring adherence with cost management principles.
- Provide legal support to corporate governance matters, such are convening Board meetings and General Meetings.
- Responsibilities as Privacy Officer as required by the applicable legislation in Europe.
How you’ll spend your day
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a professionals with a university degree in Law and be admitted to practice under the Italian Bar. With over 10 years of experience as a commercial lawyer, you need to have a strong background in business operations, commercial and contract law, and litigation. Experience in the pharmaceutical, medical devices, or healthcare sectors would be highly beneficial. Additionally, your knowledge of employee law will be an added advantage.
You must possess excellent drafting, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to advise at all business levels and in international contexts. Being well-organized, self-disciplined, and having good planning and prioritization skills are essential. Your strong business acumen, ability to work well in a team, and good judgment will also be crucial qualities.
