The opportunity
As a Business Application and Stakeholder Manager Specialist in the Clinical Operations/Data Management IT team, you will be the main touchpoint to address stakeholder needs at various levels. You will analyze and provide solutions for new needs and requirements, with a full understanding of data management and clinical operation business processes, as well as the capabilities of the systems that support these processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for overall IT accountability facing our stakeholders, portfolio strategy, system long-range planning, new demand capture and prioritization, and liaising with the Services and Support organization in the maintenance of the software and the GxP state of systems.
How you’ll spend your day
Stakeholder engagement in the Clinical Operations Data Management team, including:
- Business lead liaison – main touchpoint to address stakeholder needs (various levels, up to VP)
- Analyze and provide solutions for new needs and requirements
- Understanding of clinical operation business processes
- Full familiarity with the capabilities of the systems that support the business process
- Overall IT accountability facing our stakeholders
- Portfolio strategy and system long-range planning
- New demand capture and prioritization
- Liaison with the Services and Support organization in the maintenance of the software and the GxP state of systems
- Liaising with IT security to address operational requirements
- Liaising with QA (Quality Assurance) IT to maintain GxP standards
- Enabling vendor contribution to development activity
- Tracking budgetary investment, managing, and reporting on risks and mitigation strategies for project conduct
Your experience and qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience, ideally in Pharmaceutical IT, in the R&D area
- 5-10 years of Business Analysis experience (collecting requirements, analyzing options for solutions, and communicating the solution to stakeholders)
- Experience with multi-tasking, ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks
- Experience in R&D Clinical Operations is preferred
- Knowledge of GxP System implementation processes and system management practices is preferred
- Experience with leading projects from start to finish
- Fluent English – reading, writing, speaking
- Global mindset, eager to learn, and self-motivated
- Spotfire, CluePoints, EDC (Electronic Data Capture), Coding systems experience is preferred
- Experience in clinical data management within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry is preferred
