How you’ll spend your day

  • Provide Engineering back up to site and provide support to R&D for new technologies introduction.
  • Responsible for entire R & D Maintenance & assets care.
  • Understand site reliability strategies including value optimized maintenance, asset criticality assessments and implement them across all utilities.
  • Implement preventive maintenance plan, review them timely and ensure that best practices are followed
  • Ensure that correct legal regulations/ directives/ standards are established and followed across the plan.
  • Responsible to immediately attend the breakdown and lead the root cause assessment to implement corrective & preventive actions.
  • Develop a predictive maintenance culture and ensure that best practices of maintenance are followed
  • Develop collaboration with cross functional team leaders and peers to align on priorities at site level.
  • Ensure that right level of Inventories/Spares are maintained.
  • Shall understand all applicable local legal regulations are compliant and addressed appropriately & takes full accountabilities for all applicable regulatory compliances
  • Be a role model for safety and ensure that all site safety protocols are adhered to
  • Lead improvement & energy saving projects at plant level and allocate appropriate resources
  • Contractor management- Planning and allocate right contractors for right job.
  • Regularly conducts review meeting with contractors and follow up on safety, quality, schedule.
  • Be a coach and mentor for the people.
  • Provide timely feedback.
  • Identify talents and take ownership to develop them.
  • Ensure to make strong succession planning.
  • Overall plan and control the utilities repair & maintenance budget.
  • Implement compliances related to QA observations and EHS corrective actions based on the outcomes of site audits.
  • Facilitate the planning and effective implementation of control on resources wastages, cost reduction in water and electricity.
  • Assist in planning, monitoring and effective implementation of site Capex budget.
  • Maintain cGMP conditions at site
  • Knowledge of SAP module.
  • Follow Global engineering practices and keep site in alignment with corporate standards
  • Assist site in executing site projects in collaboration with project stakeholders.

Your experience and qualifications

  • B. Tech/B.E (Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical), M.B.A would be added advantage
  • Experience – 15 -20 Years.
