The opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished leader to serve as General Manager, driving strategic direction and operational excellence for our local operations. In this high-impact role, you will oversee a multidisciplinary leadership team, ensuring business growth, patient access, and the delivery of quality treatments. You’ll shape strategy, manage resources effectively, and foster a culture aligned with Teva’s values and leadership principles.

How you’ll spend your day

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and implement the Teva’s vision and strategy, aligning global priorities with local market opportunities.
  • Business Performance: Lead performance monitoring and achievement of KPIs, driving growth in alignment with the Long-Range Plan and Annual Operational Plan.
  • Representation: Act as the primary spokesperson for local operations, building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Talent and Culture: Collaborate with HR to attract, retain, and engage top talent, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Commercial Excellence: Develop and execute commercial strategies in partnership with leadership, ensuring adherence to Teva’s compliance and corporate standards.
  • Resource Management: Optimize operational and financial resources to achieve business goals and improve local results.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ensure alignment and effectiveness across all functional areas, both direct and matrixed.

Your experience and qualifications

  • Experience:
    • 10-15 years in the pharmaceutical industry at local and ideally international locations
    • 5-7 years in senior commercial roles with P&L responsibility.
    • Proven success managing diverse portfolios, organizations, and stakeholders in complex markets.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead direct and matrixed teams, driving strategic alignment and engagement.
  • Financial Acumen: Expertise in managing financial metrics, including P&L, cash flow, and EBITDA.
  • Languages: Fluency in English and Spanish.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
