Position Summary:

The successful candidate will be an integral member of the Digital Science Solutions (DSS) finance team. This is an outstanding opportunity to be part of an integral piece of the 2030 Company Vision to be an authority in digital science. The experienced Sr. Manager, FP&A position will provide support in multiple functions within DSS. This position will provide business partnership to DSS and lead the P&L, which includes budgeting and forecasting, monthly/quarterly business review reporting, management reporting requirements, and strategic analytics. In addition, this position will work closely with R&D, Commercial and other functions to drive financial growth and efficiency! This position offers the right candidate tremendous growth opportunities in a dynamic business unit.

Responsibilities:

• Drive monthly and quarterly business review and annual operating plan process for DSS. This includes leading P&L forecast and variance analysis to drive profitable growth.
• Partner closely with functional leaders on capital deployment, return on investments, and the long-term strategy to deliver growth.
• Develop robust analytics into business challenges to support corrective action planning and strategic decision making.
• Leverage the PPI business system to improve existing processes and enhance financial performance by leading cross-functional projects to address business issues and process inefficacies.
• Provide financial insight and mentorship to ongoing R&D and efficiency related activities.
• Develop team members for professional growth to include mentoring, coaching and training

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor/master’s degree in finance or accounting
• Proven track record in finance and accounting within a sophisticated organization
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6+ years of related experience in financial and operational analysis, reporting and accounting leadership within a large, professionally led operating company
• CPA, CMA or MBA certification desirable
• Experience with SAP, Navision, and Hyperion systems is preferred.
• Proven history of driving businesses to improve performance.
• Self-motivated with a high bias for action
• Ability to thrive in a sophisticated business environment.
• Ability to influence and engage business partners, direct/indirect reports; Have ability to optimally collaborate with senior management.
