Finance Digital Transformation supports continuous improvement initiatives within the Clinical Research Group. The position supports analyzing/improving key performance indicators. The job incumbent will have the opportunity to engage with a variety of people throughout different departments in order to achieve goals and objectives within the finance area.

Job Description:

  • Assist in supervising continuous improvement savings as well as project costs
  • Leverage Power Bi to develop and maintain central financial/business reporting dashboards applied for revenue/cost and additional business drivers
  • Influence the organization to move from strategy to action by using analytics and data visualization techniques such as Power BI to build visual analytics that help businesses and senior leaders understand
  • Enhance reporting solutions from data architecture, development, visualization or end user training
  • Work with the business to create and implement practical and sustainable improvements
  • Assist in improving and implementing business critical metrics tracking and visibility tools
  • Collect and analyze Operations metrics and identify potential projects/solutions
  • Generation of standard work, support of routing times for production
  • Liaise with Operations staff and other functional areas to meet project objectives
  • Support documentation and change control practices for the team

Qualifications:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in computer science, business or a related field
  • Excellent digital literacy in Word, Excel, SharePoint, Visio
  • Microsoft Power Platform experience (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps)
  • Programming languages experience advantageous (SQL, DAX, VBA, Python), and cloud stack technologies (AWS, Redshift, Azure AAS)
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology a plus
  • Previous experience in finance or working within a data-driven environment
  • Interpersonal skills: exceptional verbal/written communication
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with the English language
