Responsibilities:
- Supports a group of patent attorneys and patent practitioners in various EU countries with their prosecution dockets;
- Review, monitor, and clear out items from docket reports, including past-due deadlines in the IP Management System (Symphony) in accordance with internal protocols;
- Files European regional stage patent application documents and ensures quality control of application filings;
- Files documents with the European Patent Office (EPO CMS system);
- Review and upload daily incoming correspondence from various sources, such as foreign associates, outside counsel, and in-house practitioners, and handle file histories;
- Coordinates with Docket Team to create new application records in Symphony;
- Conducts weekly or bi-weekly docket meetings with agents and attorneys;
- Reviews and responds to formal communications and responses to EPO communications and prepares for filing;
- Drafts inventor correspondence; supports the employee invention remuneration process in EU countries. Arrange for signatures on declarations and assignments;
- Collaborates with colleagues at other legal department sites in the United States and Europe;
- Immediately advises direct manager/proxy manager about any non-standard situations related to their direct functions;
- Follows Vilnius site Employee Work Rules, applicable SOPs, and other internal documents governing Vilnius site operations. Performs all other assignments, written and/or oral instructions received from direct/proxy managers. In case of inability to complete assigned tasks advises the direct/proxy manager without delay.
Keys to Success:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in administration, social or technical sciences, master`s degree as advantage.
Experience:
- Experience with database tools in an administrative environment preferred;
- Experience in project management and process improvement is an advantage.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal); highly proficient in spoken and written English;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat;
- Strong analytical skills, strong computer and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work in a team environment, collaborate and establish relationships with colleagues in remote offices. Ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities while maintaining a high level of efficiency;
- Ability to operate independently with a high level of attention to detail;

Compensation
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €18 800,00–€28 250,00.
