How will you make an impact?

Summary of Internship

The position is part of the Speciality Diagnostics Group, Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Quality and Regulatory team. You will work alongside SDG and divisional regulatory, commercial, operations and legal teams as part of the Thermo Fisher Scientific organisation.

A day in the Life:

  • Assisting local quality and regulatory lead to support maintenance of ISO13485 and ISO9001 certification.

  • Supporting preparation of country specific submission documentation in the format consistent with published guidance and regulations to obtain market access licences.

  • Attend and participate in quality and regulatory meetings, gaining insight into implementation of quality and regulatory affairs at local Legal Manufacturing facility.

  • Support input of data to enable effective operation of Enterprise Resource Planning, and support creation of Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Assist with quality database development and maintenance.

  • Assist in creation of Quality Management procedures.

  • Understand impact of import requirements for assigned territories.

  • Supporting the preparation of presentations, training material, collation of critical metric data, tracking of assigned projects and audits

  • May be required to perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.

Education

  • Undergraduate Degree in science, engineering, or related field

Experience

  • Graduate

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver messages clearly and succinctly.

  • Able to work in a matrix environment.

  • Fluency in English language.
