Description of Work | The Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources (IANR) Business Centers are a cohesive team that provide professional service, efficient resource management, and effective solution development with integrity, accountability and focus on the customer. This position is located at the Eastern Nebraska Research, Education, and Extension Center near Mead and Ithaca, NE. ENREEC is within 30 minutes of both the Omaha and Lincoln metro areas. As a Finance Specialist, you will: - Serve in a customer-facing, consultative role and be responsible for providing finance support in a timely and accurate manner and in compliance with all applicable institutional, UNL, State, and Federal regulations, policies, and guidelines.
- Primarily execute and review routine and complex financial transactions.
- Work closely with employees within the departments served, as well as functional office staff, providing a high level of customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
- Function under limited supervision and utilize technology to provide professional services.
