Description of Work
The School of Accountancy invites applications for a tenure track appointment at the Assistant Professor rank beginning August 2025. The successful candidate will be expected to publish research in “A” level accounting or closely related discipline journals. All areas of teaching and research interest will be considered; however, our primary teaching needs are tax, data analytics, and financial accounting. Salary, benefits, and research support are very competitive and consistent with other Big Ten Universities.

Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Ph.D. degree in accounting or a related area from an AACSB-accredited institution by the time of appointment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Teaching and research interest in tax, data analytics, and/or financial accounting. All areas of interest will be considered.
  • Interest in being an active member of a rich academic community.
