Description of Work | The Research Technologist II will carry out advanced bio-imaging analyses, including confocal (such as live-cell imaging of plant samples), digital fluorescence, and electron microscopy. The individual will provide imaging expertise in cell biology and assist researchers in accomplishing their goals by means of microscopy. This position will be responsible for operations of microscopes and sample processing, and share the responsibilities of maintenance of the microscope, assisting scientific reports, training or supervising the activities of users and students.

Minimum Required Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences or related field plus three years of laboratory experience including working with biological samples for cell biological or biochemical analysis. Experience must demonstrate excellent communication skills, independently completing projects within deadlines, development of constructive analyses of scientific results. |
