Working with the Senior Director of Engineering Student Services, this position will be responsible for developing, implementing, managing, and assessing a comprehensive strategic plan for College of Engineering student success and retention efforts for both the City and Scott campuses in accordance with the College vision and mission. Will conduct research, evaluate and report on current student retention and national and peer institution data. Utilizing this data, position will provide analysis, make program recommendations and devise strategies to increase retention based on findings. This position will serve as an advocate and case manager for students of concern, advising and referring to University and community resources. This position will be responsible for providing college-level outreach to students that are identified as at-risk at any point during their academic career and has responsibilities to manage all of the programmatic logistics associated with the student success and retention. Position will serve as an Academic Advisor during peak enrollment times and provide guidance and counseling to students in matters related to academic goals, choice of curriculum, course load, study habits, and course scheduling. This position requires a willingness to work a flexible and extended schedule including weekends and evenings when needed.
