University Dining is looking for a motivated, caring individual to join our team as the Hospitality Service Leader . This full-time position has flexibility of the shift times, Monday through Friday with occasional weekends. The Hospitality Service Leader will:
- Oversee hospitality employees as designated by the Sr. Dining Service Manager and supervising full time and student employees working in dining facilities.
- Responsible for the cleaning of dining spaces and public areas to provide students with a clean environment and maintain established cleanliness guidelines and work area coverage during staff absences.
- Cleaning tasks include but are not limited to:
- kitchens, dining areas, bathrooms, public lounges, laundry rooms, stairwells, dining room, tile floors and carpeting.
Ability to transition smoothly from academic year schedules to summer conference schedules. Must have ability or possess the ability to learn basic computer skills; i.e., checking emails, using training modules, accessing personnel/employment benefits and other information. May be required to be on-call during non-scheduled hours. Must receive pesticide applicator certification within one year of hire.
