The Opportunity

For our Abbott Nutrition Division ANI we are currently looking for a Medical Representative to join our great team in Slovenia. This will be a field-based role, requiring regular travelling across assigned area (Ljubljana and surroundings).

What You'll do:

• Build effective business relationships with health care partners and customers; win new customers, as well as developing long-term relationships with existing ones.
• Ensure high-quality sales calls and excellence in selling skills.
• Maintain f2f call frequencies and number of doctor and pharmacy visits as per plan.
• Ensure regular CRM reporting and regular segmentation and targeting process.
• Implement and propose marketing activities.
• Grow Product knowledge by attendance at conferences and seminars.
• Administration, database maintenance, expense reports preparation.

Required qualifications and background:

• University degree preferably in science related field.
• Prior experience in pharma sales is highly desired (2-3 years).
• Experience in interaction with hospital specialists from Oncology, Gastroenterology, Neurology or Diabetes would be an advantage.
• Proficiency in English and Slovenian.
• Competency in MS Office applications.
• Driving license B.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong relationship building skills.
• Can-do attitude with pro-active approach.
• Ability to organize own work, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to understand the data and propose necessary actions.
• Ability and willingness to travel on a frequent basis.
