In Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.

This facility will offer 1,200 local new jobs and will be the first health manufacturing facility in Querétaro (pioneers for healthcare Hub).

Main Purpuose of the role

1. Provides level support, including incident handling, problem resolution, and Break/Fix. Provides hardware maintenance and software maintenance (operating system, system utilities, security tools, monitoring tools, tuning tools).
2. Support in generating quality system records (EHS, facilities, maintenance, and security).

3. Provides development and maintenance of system documentation (technical, operations, support, and user).
4. Provides system tuning, and capacity planning.
5. Documents call data into a tracking system.
6. Maintains a comprehensive knowledge of new technologies equipment and services in the data communications industry.
7. Participates in disaster recovery planning and testing for infrastructure and client business applications.
8. Installs, tests and upgrades platform, common, or shared systems including hardware, operating systems, and associated infrastructure software (system utilities, security tools, monitoring tools, tuning tools, etc.) for both new and existing systems.
9. Participates in analysis and design of division, common, or shared systems including hardware, operating systems, and infrastructure software (system utilities, security tools, monitoring tools, tuning tools, etc.) for both new and existing systems.
10. Tests, and implements system security for operating systems, infrastructure software (system utilities, security tools, monitoring tools, tuning tools, etc.) and infrastructure devices.

Main Responsibilities

Frequent application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques. Works under general supervision.
Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of divisional scope and complexity.

Contributes to the completion of technical tasks or projects.
Support in generating quality system records (EHS, facilities, maintenance & security).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree. IT or related field

Education Level Major/Field of Study Or Education Level
Experience: 1 year in automotive, food, pharma industry

Languages. – Advanced English
