As a Regional Sales Manager, you will drive the achievement of annual sales goals through strategic initiatives such as KOL management, customer sampling, and B-2-B offerings. You will protect Abbott Diabetes Care’s contribution margin by controlling costs and ensuring compliance with company policies. Your role will also involve establishing the FreeStyle Libre platform as the standard of care among key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire your sales team, providing constructive feedback and developing sales strategies.

  • Conduct joint visits with sales representatives to motivate and coach them.

  • Oversee sales activities and ensure the execution of marketing campaigns.

  • Monitor KPIs and analyze market statistics to develop targeted action plans.

  • Deliver product goal-oriented sales training to improve the quality and impact of detailing calls.

  • Maintain clear and transparent communication with other functions.

  • Contribute to the innovation of internal processes.

  • Ensure compliance with Abbott policies and local regulations.

  • Report observations and experiences from the field, including competitor intelligence and environmental observations.

  • Forecast sales development and product consumption.

  • Follow up on competitor activities and communicate relevant information within the leadership team.

  • Deliver weekly progress reports to the manager.

  • Manage the process required to ensure the execution of action plans and meet financial results.

Qualifications

  • University degree in health sciences, biology, economics, or marketing.

  • At least 5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry, including 3 years of management and sales coaching experience.

  • Superior relationship-building skills and fluency in Swedish and English.
