For our Electrophysiology (EP) Division, we are recruiting a Business Analyst – Commercial Excellence to be based in our EMEA Headquarters in Zaventem, Belgium.

The purpose of the role is to provide competent support to the Commercial Excellence Director along multiple fronts, including IT systems (mainly PowerBI and Salesforce) and data crunching and analysis/reporting. The Business Analyst will work in direct support of the Commercial Excellence Manager across EMEA for the EP division.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develop deep understanding for Abbott’s data management tools including salesfore.com, Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps and SAP. Develop and deploy analytical capabilities using these systems.
  • Analyze, monitor, and report marketing and financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of difference product lines and groups in their different markets and/or customer segments using dashboards and technical reporting.
  • Provide analytical support for monthly and quarterly reporting activities and strategic needs in line with business goals and priorities in collaboration with EMEA marketing, sales, and finance leadership
  • Work with the local marketing, sales and finance teams to design and deliver regular as well as ad-hoc analytics on Commercial Excellence related topics and act as a champion and advocate for Commercial Excellence initiatives through regular communication with local teams.
  • Support the maintenance of good quality of data within Abbott’s data environment.
  • Facilitate and act as the key contact for the TAM (Total Addressable Market) data collection exercise with countries.
  • Interpret data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement in the direction of commercial excellence.
  • Optimize data-collection and reporting processes to enhance sales and commercial excellence in collaboration with marketing, sales and finance functions.
  • Identify inefficiencies in sales cycle and propose data-driven solutions for improvement.
  • Develop and deliver regular trainings on data-related tools and reports for sales and marketing teams to ensure proper utilization of data tools and adherence to data-related processes and methodologies.
  • Support organization with needed data and analytics towards organizational pricing goals.

Your Profile:

  • University degree, preferably in Business Administration or Commercial Engineering
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience operating within a fast-paced selling environment, in Commercial Excellence, SFE, finance, sales support or business analytics roles
  • Strong preference for medical device industry experience
  • Experience with PowerApps and business intelligence tools preferred. Good knowledge of PowerBI and MS Excel required. Proficient in databases, MS Office and financial software applications
  • Strong analytic skills and financial analysis acumen
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data analytics
  • Exemplary reporting and communication skills
  • Relevant geographical market experience
  • Ability to work in cross-functional and international teams
  • Strong ability to communicate in a matrix environment
  • Language requirements: English mandatory (any additional language is an asset)
