This position works out of our Bentonville, AR location in the Nutrition Division. Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow, to keeping adult bodies strong and active. The Insights and Business Analytics Manager is responsible for championing a solution-oriented culture through business investigation that drives the team to achieve its objectives and make sound business decisions. The primary responsibilities of the Insights and Business Analytics Manager are Leading Luminate strategy, Analytics and Forecasting Consolidation.

What You’ll Work On

Insight Leadership and Best in Class Analytical Support

  • Lead data analytics leveraging Luminate modules and Nielsen to drive smarter decisions resulting in sales/margin growth for our retail customers and Abbott Nutrition Brands.

  • Build reporting to support data utilization for Walmart team and internal stakeholders.

  • Coordinate and consolidate financial roll-ups across the CBC relative to shipment forecasts, trade spend, latest best estimate (LBE) forecasts, and customer performance scorecards.

  • Collaborate with CBC leadership and cross-functional staff to support strategic initiatives, establish key performance indicators (KPIs), execute ad hoc reporting, and provide a financial lens for business problems and solutions.

  • Establish and adhere to quarterly reporting available for senior leadership, both internally facing and externally across the customer base

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the consumer products goods (CPG) landscape, industry trends and best practices, and share updates with the team including a perspective for how the team can capitalize on these learnings.

Required Qualifications

  • Undergraduate business degree or another discipline (e.g., business, economics, mathematics) that requires critical thinking and quantitative knowledge; Graduate (MBA) degree preferred

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant business experience is preferred in business analytics or retail finance role

  • Function as a knowledge source for CBC in the use of Luminate, Abbott systems, Nielsen, Cognos, Microsoft programs (PowerPoint, Excel, BI, and Word), etc.

  • Skilled in financial modeling and advanced knowledge of Nielsen, Excel, PowerPoint is required.

  • Experience in visual reporting tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.

  • Ability to develop insight generated storytelling through working in Walmart’s Luminate platform and other syndicated databases.

  • Advanced writing and communication skills, and ability to interact and persuade senior-level individuals as well as actively participate in meetings and group discussions with individuals from various parts of the organization (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Finance).

  • Ability to lead detailed and sophisticated analyses required to support business decisions (e.g., structure the problem, collect data, identify issues and present results in a meaningful manner).

The base pay for this position is $97,300.00 – $194,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
