POSITION SUMMARY
The Data Management Coordinator processes the paperwork and information needed to enter or update information associated with a new or existing patient into the different engines that ACH uses.
Through various tasks in Patient Connect, the Data Management Coordinator assists with timely updates of patient information file.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Review, classify and upload all faxed documents received from Warehouse.
- Validate and enter all new patient information and existing patient updates.
- Submit Workflow Forms to process needed changes to Patients’ Files (Demographics, Verbal Authorizations from MD Offices, etc. for other departments to process.
- Resolves or reports problems encountered immediately, including unreadable data, unacceptable data, and any other problems to their management team.
- Follow all regulatory policies and procedures, privacy and security standards in accordance with Government agencies to include HIPAA requirements.
- Understand and adhere to business processes and procedures.
- Maintain a culture of accountability in area of responsibility.
- Assist with any special projects as directed by supervisor/manager.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Associate degree or equivalent preferred
- At least one to two years data entry/processing experience preferred
- Demonstrates proficiency and accuracy in operating systems directly related to specific job function

- Position requires heavy data entry (up to 95%)
PHYSICAL ABILITIES
- Must be able sit at a standard workstation for long periods
- Must be able to work with a standard computer and monitor using keyboard
- No lifting required for this position
- No work-related travel
- Must have the ability to get to work on time and work for the entire assigned shift
- Must be able to work a night shift from minimum 10:00 pm to 7:00 am Philippine Standard Time.
