Our solutions are used in healthcare institutions, physician offices, emergency rooms, and laboratories thousands of times every day, in practically every country around the world. The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Enterprise Account Manager to join our Core Diagnostics team in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Pakistan. In this role, you will be responsible for driving customer loyalty through strategic planning and value co-creation, supporting both the customer and Abbott.

The position is based in Norway and requires frequent travel, averaging three days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and apply marketplace trends to assigned enterprise accounts.

  • Consult with customers to deliver insights for clinical effectiveness and operational excellence.

  • Establish and build a deep understanding of account needs, stakeholders, and competitive situations.

  • Understand customer priorities and link Abbott solutions to them.

  • Envision solutions across Abbott's portfolio that deliver better healthcare for customers.

  • Set enterprise-wide account engagement strategy for zero-based accounts and renewal opportunities.

  • Establish and drive strategic account and opportunity plans for achieving goals.

  • Maintain complete and accurate customer data in Salesforce.

  • Align Abbott's value creation with customers' strategic objectives and key performance indicators.

  • Partner with key decision makers to develop solutions that enhance competitiveness and performance.

  • Ensure Abbott solutions deliver the intended value.

  • Drive market share growth through new business opportunities and contract renewals.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute account strategies.

  • Negotiate profitable contracts by evaluating all possible deal scenarios.

  • Build long-term, collaborative partnerships with current and potential customers.

Qualifications:

  • University degree, ideally in medical technology.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years track record in the diagnostic industry with an emphasis on establishing and building executive-level relationships.

  • Working healthcare and diagnostics industry knowledge, including changing market dynamics, key competitors, terminology, challenges, and potential government regulations.

  • Extensive experience managing strategic/enterprise accounts.

  • Extensive experience developing relationships with, selling to, and negotiating with senior-level stakeholders in large, complex enterprise-named accounts.

  • Proven success at winning contracts at large, complex accounts.

  • Ability to influence team member activities (without direct reporting relationship).

  • Strong understanding of key stakeholders and customer dynamics.

  • Strong solution selling and relationship-building skills.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Long-term, strategic focus on account.

  • Portfolio management skills.

  • Candidates need to be fluent in the local language and English; additional languages are advantageous.

  • Willingness to travel frequently, averaging three days per week.
