This role is responsible for maximizing sales volume and market share of designated products within an assigned territory.
Responsibilities:
Complete low voltage, high voltage, and CRT product certification.
Achieve sales targets and increase market share for assigned territory.
Actively implement and execute on sales force effectiveness initiatives to help drive business growth and sales skills development including strategic territory and account planning, customer profiles and sales training.
Utilise available sales analysis tools to assist in territory planning.
Develop relationships with and service key customer groups, identify and utilise key customer networks.
Support implantation, post-operative and clinics of pacemakers, defibrillators & CRT devices within your territory.
Utilise internal resources to assist servicing customers within your territory.
Manage your consignment stock.
Maintain accurate customer profiles.
Maintain up to date product knowledge and actively participate in education programs.
Assist with product marketing and launches.
Provide market feedback on product and competitor activity.
Attend to/comply with customer service and other administrative requirements within the required timeframe.
Attend company sales meetings and customer events as required.
Ensure maintenance of company property/assets.
Have a sound understanding of, and comply with, the industry (MTAA) the Abbott Code of Conduct and Company Compliance requirements.
Handle and document customer complaints according to Abbott ANZ Field Event Reporting Standard Operating Procedure.
Knowledge of and commitment to the requirements of the Quality Management System.
Knowledge of and commitment to Work, Health & Safety responsibilities.
Action any other customer complaints with relevant Abbott ANZ Business Unit.
Execute the position and Business Unit responsibilities according to applicable Abbott ANZ Standard Operating Procedures.
Perform other related functions and responsibilities as directed by Manager.
Minimum Education
Tertiary qualifications in Biomedical, Engineering, Medical Science, Human Movement related field (Coronary Care Nursing/Cardiac Technician) is essential.
Minimum Experience and Skills
Good understanding of the industry process and function
Ability to convincingly discuss the industry process and function with customers, as well as internal and external experts.
IBHRE Certified preferred

Attend regular departmental meetings with manager/supervisor to build in continuous feedback mechanisms.
